Kenelle tämä hoito on tarkoitettu?
CoolSculpting sopii miehille, joiden on vaikea päästä eroon jonkin tietyn alueen ylimääräisestä rasvasta. Erityisen hyvin toimenpide sellaisille rasvakertymille, joihin liikunta ja ruokavaliomuutokset eivät tepsi. Hoito voi monissa tapauksissa — ei kuitenkaan aina — korvata rasvaimun. Erityisen hyvin toimenpide sopii pseudogynekomastian hoitoon, kun miehen rintojen liikakasvu johtuu rasvakertymistä.
Toimenpide ei ole laihdutuskeino, eikä se korvaa esim. mahalaukun ohitusleikkausta. Se voi kuitenkin toimia tehokkaana lähtölaukauksena aiempaa terveellisemmille elämäntavoille ja myös painonhallinnalle.

Kuinka paljon hoito maksaa?
CoolSculpting-hoidon hintaan vaikuttavat seuraavat tekijät:
- Hoitoalueen tai hoitoalueiden koko: lähtökohtaisesti pienen alueen käsittely maksaa vähemmän kuin suuren
- Tarvittavien toimenpiteiden lukumäärä: yhdellä CoolSculpting-hoidolla voidaan poistaa 20-25 prosenttia alueen rasvasoluista
- Asetetut tavoitteet ja päämäärät
Hoitosuunnitelma tehdään jokaiselle räätälöidysti. Otamme huomioon käsittelyalueen tai -alueiden koon, omat tavoitteesi sekä budjettisi. Tarvittaessa voit maksaa toimenpiteen myös osissa.
Kuinka pitkään? Kuinka monta kertaa?
Hoidon kesto vaihtelee käsittelyalueen koon mukaan. Yhden alueen (n. 12 cm x 12 cm) hoito kestää noin 35 minuuttia. Kaksoisleuan käsitteleminen hoituu alle tunnissa. Molempien jenkkakahvojen tai alavatsan käsittely kestää noin kaksi tuntia.
Kertahoito poistaa noin 25 prosenttia hoitoalueen rasvasoluista. Jos rasvaa halutaan poistaa enemmän, toimenpide voidaan tehdä kaksi tai kolme kertaa.
Minne jäädytetty rasva häviää?
Kryolipolyysi on toimenpide, jonka aikana rasvasoluja jäädytetään. (Kryo merkitsee kylmää, lipolyysi rasvan hajottamista.)
- Jäätyneet rasvasolut kuolevat hoitoa seuraavien vuorokausien kuluessa.
- Elimistön jätehuollosta vastaavat solut hajottavat kuolleet rasvasolut.
- Tämän jälkeen kuolleet rasvasolut metaboloituvat maksassa ja poistuvat kehosta luonnollista tietä.
Kuolleiden rasvasolujen tilalle ei synny uusia rasvasoluja. Tämän vuoksi hoitotulokset ovat pysyviä. Kuten kaikkien esteettisten toimenpiteiden jälkeen, myös tässä hoitotuloksia ylläpidetään elämällä tervettä, tasapainoista elämää.
Miltä hoito tuntuu?
Toimenpiteen alkaessa ihossa tuntuu imua, painetta ja kylmyyttä. Epämukavuus vähenee ensimmäisten minuuttien jälkeen. Toimenpiteen aikana voi lukea kirjaa, katsella videoita tai selailla työpapereita. Hoidon aikana voi jopa torkahtaa. Lue lisää.
Onko CoolSculpting-hoito turvallinen?
CoolSculpting-hoito on saanut pitkien, perusteellisten ja puolueettomien tutkimusten jälkeen FDA-hyväksynnän. (FDA-hyväksyntä koskee vatsan, reisien, lantion “jenkkakahvojen” ja kaksoisleuan käsittelyä.)
Toimenpide on tutkitusti turvallinen ja tehokas, ja se sopii erinomaisesti ei-kirurgiseen rasvanpoistoon. Yli miljoona onnistunutta hoitoa puhuu puolestaan.
Markkinoiden muilla kryolipolyysihoidoilla ja -laitteilla ei ole FDA-hyväksyntää. Tämän vuoksi näiden tehosta tai turvallisuudesta ei ole takeita.
Onko hoidolla sivuoireita tai vasta-aiheita?
Toimenpiteen aikana syvällä kudoksissa voi aistia vetoa, nykimistä, nipistelyä ja muita lievän epämukavia tuntemuksia. Toimenpiteen jälkeen käsittelyalue on usein turta tai tunnoton. Punoitus, turvotus, mustelmat, pistely, kihelmöinti ja kivut ovat tavallisia sivuoireita hoidon jälkeen.
Toimenpide ei kuitenkaan sovi aivan kaikille. Esimerkiksi kryoglobulinemia ja vakava liikalihavuus ovat toimenpiteen vasta-aiheita. Varmista aina terveydenhuollon ammattilaiselta, sopiiko toimenpide juuri sinulle.
Voinko palata arkirutiineihini heti toimenpiteen jälkeen?
Voit.
Tämä toimenpide on täysin ei-kirurginen, joten hoidon jälkeen elämä jatkuu normaalisti. Hoidossa voi käydä esimerkiksi pidennetyn lounastunnin aikana.
Ensimmäisten vuorokausien aikana raskas liikunta voi olla hankalaa.
Koska näen tulokset?
Muutoksia alkaa näkyä noin kolmen viikon kuluttua toimenpiteestä. Dramaattisimmillaan lopputulokset ovat keskimäärin kahden kuukauden päästä CoolSculpting-hoidosta. Rasvan poistuminen toimenpidealueelta jatkuu vielä 4–6 kuukautta toimenpiteen jälkeen.
Pitääkö minun syödä myös lisäravinteita? Liittyykö hoitoon tiukka ruokavalio?
Hoitoon ei liity pillereitä tai lisäravinteita. Sinun ei tarvitse myöskään opetella uusia ruokailu- tai liikuntatottumuksia.
Useimmat potilaat alkavat kuitenkin spontaanisti huolehtia hyvinvoinnistaan entistä paremmin, kun he näkevät ensimmäisiä hoitotuloksia. Monelle hoito toimii eräänlaisena lähtölaukauksena uuteen, aiempaa terveempään elämään.
Mitä tapahtuu, jos lihon hoidon jälkeen?
Useimmat potilaat alkavat pitää itsestään entistä parempaa huolta investoituaan hoitoon ja nähtyään hoidon tulokset.
Jos kiloja karttuu toimenpiteen jälkeen, olemassaolevat rasvasolut voivat kasvaa kaikkialla kehossa, myös toimenpidealueella.
