After mesotherapy
After mesotherapy, the treated area may experience the following transient side effects:
- Mild redness
- Bruising
- Swelling
- Tenderness
- Itching
- Tingling
All of these are common post-mesotherapy reactions. They are temporary and usually disappear within a few days. If symptoms persist or other symptoms occur, contact the practitioner. Avoid touching the treated area for the first six hours. After that, you can gently wash the area with water and cleansing products.
Light makeup can be applied to the treatment area immediately after the procedure. Do not use organic cosmetics in the first few days. Avoid exposing the treated area to heat (solarium, sauna, direct sunlight) or excessive cold until swelling and redness have subsided.
If you have had shingles (herpes zoster) in the past, mesotherapy treatment may cause it to recur.
Medications containing acetylsalicylic acid (e.g., aspirin) and some herbal products may increase the appearance of bruising or bleeding. Meso-Arnizen gel is recommended for the treatment of bruising, swelling, and other symptoms.
Mesotherapy treatment works best as a series of treatments. In this case, the treatment is done three times at intervals of 7-14 days. The results of the series treatment can be maintained by performing one treatment each time the seasons change.
