• After the procedure, dressings are applied to the suture sites. These dressings should be removed twenty-four hours after the procedure. Do not apply new patches to the suture sites if the wounds are not bleeding.
• You can shower twenty-four hours after the procedure. Fluid may leak from the suture sites for a couple of days, even to the extent of soaking clothes. This is entirely normal.
• The stitches will be removed one week after the procedure. Before coming in for stitch removal, the suture sites should be washed at home more thoroughly and for longer than usual. This makes removing the stitches easier.
• Redness at the suture site is normal and is caused by the suction performed in the area.
• Compression garments should be worn for six weeks. The first three weeks, wear them twenty-two hours a day, and the next three weeks, wear them twelve hours a day.
• Pain levels vary from person to person. If you experience pain, you can take pain medication as instructed.
• It is good to treat swelling with lymphatic therapy. We recommend lymphatic treatment before and after the procedure, according to the doctor’s instructions.
• For bruise treatment, we recommend Arnizen™ Cream Gel bruise gel.
• Permitted pain relievers after the procedure include Panadol, Paraceon, Paratabs, and Panacod, among others.
• There may be slightly harder areas on the treated area, which disappear from the area in about eight weeks.
• The removal of hard spots can be facilitated by TiteFx treatment, which can be done as early as four weeks after the procedure. Treatment is recommended in a series of 3-5 sessions.
• Preliminary results are visible in just a few days. The final result is visible 1-3 months later.
