After tattoo removal<\/h1>\n

The protective cover should be removed 3-4 hours after the treatment.<\/p>\n

The tattoo removal site is an open wound, so it must be kept clean and aired. The treated area should be moisturized 4-6 times a day until it has fully healed and the skin is no longer broken or scabbed. The area should be cleaned under running water each time before applying new ointment. Suitable ointments include white petroleum jelly, Helosan, and Bepanthen.<\/p>\n

A scab will often form on the treated area, which should not be scratched or picked off. If the area itches, do not scratch. Itching can be relieved with 0.5-1% hydrocortisone cream or by gently pressing the area. Laserat cream, designed for post-laser treatment symptoms, quickly reduces swelling, itching, and burning.<\/p>\n

It is completely normal for blisters to form on the area during the first few days. If the area is painful, you may take pain relievers that contain paracetamol as the active ingredient. Ibuprofen or aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) may cause unnecessary bruising or bleeding in the area.<\/p>\n

The area should be protected from the sun\/UV rays for about a month after the treatment.<\/p>\n

Swimming and sauna use should be avoided for 1-2 weeks. Showering can be done as soon as 2 hours after the procedure. However, the water should not be directed straight onto the treated area, and the area should not be soaked in a bath until it is fully healed.<\/p>\n
