{"id":24314,"date":"2024-04-09T15:32:32","date_gmt":"2024-04-09T12:32:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ckl.fi\/?page_id=24314"},"modified":"2024-04-09T15:32:32","modified_gmt":"2024-04-09T12:32:32","slug":"after-chemical-peeling","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ckl.fi\/en\/after-chemical-peeling\/","title":{"rendered":"After chemical peeling"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>After chemical peeling<\/h1>\n<p>After the peel, the treated area may experience the following temporary side effects:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Redness (almost always)<\/li>\n<li>Peeling during the week following the treatment<\/li>\n<li>Itching<\/li>\n<li>Tingling<\/li>\n<li>Small pimples<\/li>\n<li>Swelling (with TCA peels and TC Plus treatment)<\/li>\n<li>Skin flaking (with Jessner&#8217;s peel, TCA peel)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All of these are typical post-peel reactions, indicating skin renewal. Reactions are temporary and usually disappear within a week. Using a high-quality moisturizer can alleviate side effects and shorten their duration.<\/p>\n<p>If symptoms persist or other symptoms occur, contact the provider of the treatment. It is also possible that the skin does not redden, tingle, or peel at all. Nevertheless, the skin is renewing.<\/p>\n<p>Avoid touching the treated area for the first six hours after the treatment. Afterward, you can gently wash the treated area with water and mild cleansing products. Light makeup can be applied to the treated area immediately after the procedure. Organic cosmetics should be avoided for the week following the treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Do not expose the treated area to heat (solarium, direct sunlight, hot sauna) or excessive cold during the treatment series.
